It’s Only A Mistake is an uptempo indie rock-shoegaze popsong with reflections about growing up in a small town longing for something new and better. A song about freedom and about giving yourself a chance to grow up, make mistakes and go on, finding your way and identity in life.
You can for sure detect echoes of bands like My Bloody Valentine & The Cure mixed with Ride and for sure northern Swedish indie pop.
The song was written on acoustic guitar in the kitchen, then really quick transformed to indie rock anthem in our studio, maybe the fastes one we’ve done so far.
